Overview
What is DIABETES PANEL 1
High blood sugar levels are a symptom of a metabolic disease called diabetes mellitus (DM). There are primarily two types: Type 1, which results from the death of insulin-producing cells in the pancreas, and Type 2, which results from either insufficient insulin production or a poor response of your cells to insulin. Type 2 is more prevalent and causes your blood sugar levels to become excessively elevated. Increased thirst, frequent urination, hunger, exhaustion, weight loss, blurred eyesight, and numbness in the hands and feet are typical symptoms. All of the body’s organs may sustain harm if left untreated.

Usage
This kit measures HbA1c levels in addition to blood glucose levels. The hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) test is a helpful tool for identifying and/or tracking diabetes since it analyzes the average blood sugar level over an extended period of time (8–12 weeks). Monitoring and maintaining the proper blood sugar levels is crucial to preventing complications since persistently high blood sugar levels can raise the risk of heart disease, renal damage, and stroke. In order to evaluate general health, it also comprises a series of testing that are typically requested at an annual visit, such as lipid and cholesterol assessments as well as renal function tests.
